You receive the following error message when importing transactions through Online Banking:
QuickBooks is unable to verify the Financial Institution information for this download. Please try again later.
Your download (.QBO file) is formatted incorrectly and needs to be fixed by your Financial Institution.
This error will also occur if you are trying to import a .QBO file into an older version of QuickBooks that no longer supports the online banking service.
NOTE: This error has also occurred when the date range chosen for the .QBO file is older than what the bank's date parameters will allow. Some regional banks and credit unions only allow the current month and one month prior; others will allow up to a range of 90 days.
Contact your Financial Institution to report the issue.
Note: You may need to provide them with the error and a copy of your download (.QBO) file.
If you are using a version of QuickBooks that is currently unsupported / discontinued, please upgrade your file to a supported version of QuickBooks.
If this solution does not resolve the issue, you can read discussions and post messages and questions relating to your issue on the Intuit QuickBooks Community site for free, or you can contact a technical support agent for additional guidance. Fees may apply.
